La nuova casa della Juve – The new Juventus F.C. home
L’impianto sorge sulle ceneri del precedente Stadio delle Alpi, demolito tra il 2008 ed il 2009. E tra i pochissimi stadi in Italia di proprieta del proprio club (altro esempio e lo Stadio Giglio di Reggio Emilia, inaugurato nel 1995 quando il club militava in Serie A).
L’intenzione della Juventus e quella di offrire a uno sponsor commerciale la possibilita di legare il suo nome a quello dello stadio.
E del 18 marzo 2008 la decisione del consiglio di amministrazione della Juventus Football Club S.p.A. di approvare il progetto per la realizzazione del nuovo stadio, destinato a sorgere sull’area del vecchio Delle Alpi; l’investimento complessivo per la realizzazione del nuovo impianto ammonta a 105 milioni di euro. Il nuovo stadio, progettato dagli studi GAU e Shesa sotto il coordinamento degli architetti Gino Zavanella ed Eloy Suarez e dell’ingegnere Massimo Majowecki, sorge nello stesso luogo dove precedentemente era ubicato il Delle Alpi, i cui lavori di demolizione sono iniziati nel novembre 2008 e si sono conclusi a fine marzo 2009; il progetto ha previsto il recupero di tutta la parte interrata del vecchio stadio, compresa la zona del campo di gioco.
Il nuovo stadio, che puo ospitare 41 254 spettatori, e stato concepito con i massimi standard di sicurezza. L’accesso, privo di barriere architettoniche, avviene da quattro ingressi posti sugli angoli, con ampie rampe che seguono il profilo delle collinette verdi sulle quali sorge l’impianto e portano ad un anello che circoscrive lo stadio. L’anello e un luogo sicuro, dove possono essere controllati i titoli di ingresso e dove possono sostare i mezzi di servizio e di soccorso. Le panchine sono posizionate in prima fila all’interno della tribuna, come negli stadi inglesi. Alle gradinate e alle tribune – che sono poste a 7,5 metri di distanza dal campo di gioco – si accede da 16 passerelle distribuite nei diversi settori dell’impianto. In caso di emergenza l’impianto puo essere evacuato in meno di 4 minuti.
Al di sotto delle gradinate sono state realizzate le aree di servizio allo stadio e alla squadra. Nella parte superiore, con un profilo di grande leggerezza ed essenzialita sorge lo stadio, con le gradinate e i palchi: il tutto e inserito in un unico profilo a semicerchio e senza elementi che si distaccano dalla linea di continuita.
Inoltre lo stadio ingloba un’area vastissima, costituita da 4.000 posti auto, 8 ristoranti e 20 bar. All’interno anche 3 spogliatoi, un museo dedicato alla storia della Juventus, 34.000 m? di aree commerciali e 30.000 m? di aree verdi e piazze. La struttura esterna dello stadio ricorda quella di un’astronave ed e composta da 7.000 pannelli in Alucobond colorati in varie sfumature di grigio e bianco, oscillanti e riflettenti, i quali, secondo il designer Fabrizio Giugiaro che ha curato il design degli esterni, danno l’effetto di una «bandiera in movimento». Un lungo fregio tricolore cinge l’intera struttura, intervallato in vari punti da due stelle gialle, che richiamano quelle presenti all’interno dello stadio nelle curve.
La copertura in PVC degli spalti e sorretta da due pennoni che richiamano la vecchia struttura del Delle Alpi. Studiata nella galleria del vento, e stata realizzata ispirandosi al profilo delle ali degli aerei: una struttura di grande leggerezza, realizzata in una membrana in parte trasparente ed in parte bianca, per permettere una visione ottimale del campo, sia diurna sia notturna, ed in grado di garantire il passaggio della luce tramite i lucernari, in maniera tale che sia sufficiente per la crescita dell’erba del campo.
L’inaugurazione del nuovo impianto e avvenuta l’8 settembre 2011 in concomitanza con i festeggiamenti per il 150? anniversario dell’Unita d’Italia, con una cerimonia curata dalla K-events di Marco Balich, che ha visto il culmine in un’amichevole contro il Notts County, club professionistico piu antico del mondo, da cui la Juventus nel 1903 "eredito" l’attuale divisa bianconera. L’evento, seguito da Juventus Channel, Sky Sport e Cielo, e stato diffuso anche via Internet in streaming sul sito web e sul canale YouTube della Juventus.
La cerimonia di inaugurazione, presentata da Linus e con Cristina Chiabotto come madrina, ha ripercorso l’intera storia della Juventus, ed ha visto protagonisti alcuni dei piu famosi calciatori legati alla squadra. Lo stadio e stato poi ufficialmente inaugurato dal presidente della squadra, Andrea Agnelli, e dal sindaco di Torino, Piero Fassino. Giampiero Boniperti ed Alessandro Del Piero, uniti al centro del campo, hanno suggellato l’evento, al fianco della storica panchina sulla quale, nel 1897, alcuni studenti liceali fondarono il club bianconero.
